Among these product categories, computers including optical readers posted the greatest increase in Greek export sales with a 845% gain in value from $54.9 million in 2009 to $519 million during 2016.
In second place were exported aluminum bars and rods which grew 119.3% over the same 7-year period followed by thin aluminum foil up 90%.
Greek exports of olive oil also showed a respectable gain in 2016 up 75.9% from 2009, trailed by export sales of copper tubes and pipes up 74.7%.
Leading the decliners were exports of tobacco (down -38.4%), raw cotton (down -16%) and medication mixes in dosage (down -15.4%).
