- Gold (unwrought): $8.2 billion (up 77.8%)
- Trucks: $4.6 billion (up 98.8%)
- Automobile parts/accessories: $3.9 billion (up 93.7%)

- T-shirts, vests (knit or crochet): $2.9 billion (up 22.2%)

Among these product categories, jewelry posted the greatest increase in Turkish export sales with a 225.4% gain in value from $1.2 billion in 2009 to $3.8 billion during 2016.
In second place were exported woven carpets and other textile floor coverings which grew 109.7% over the same 7-year period.
Turkish exports of miscellaneous furniture also showed a respectable gain in 2016 up 103.5% from 2009, followed by export sales of trucks up 98.8%.
Leading the decliners were exported iron or non-alloy steel bars and rods, down -32%. Processed petroleum oils slowed by -20.5%. The only other top category to decrease was TV receivers, monitors and projectors which fell in value by -18.9%.
